Ella – Office Coordinator

Ella, our office coordinator, is not only new to our team, but the dental field as well. She was drawn to the world of dentistry for the chance to work one on one with patients and build long lasting relationships. She is passionate about people and being an advocate for every patient’s well-being. Starting out as an office coordinator, Ella hopes to grow in the dentistry field and pursue a future in dental hygiene. In her free time, Ella loves being at the ocean training for free ride Jet Ski competitions, taking long camping trips with her husband, or just relaxing on a boat with her friends and family.

Annie – Front Office

Annie grew up in the dental field with a father who was a dentist. She’s been working in the field for a very long time and works primarily at the Magnolia location on Saturdays. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them find ways to work with their schedule and their pace. Outside of work, Annie loves to spend time with her large family.

Tanya – Lead Dental Hygienist

Tanya, our lead dental hygienist, has been working in the field of dentistry since 1994. Her favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is caring for her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Tanya is dedicated to educating her patients about how to maintain good oral health. She cherishes the relationships that she has built with her patients over the years. Originally from Canada, Tanya now lives in Bothell. In her free time she loves travelling, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and friends. Tanya is a very proud aunt!

Lisa – Hygienist

Lisa works for us at both our Laurelhurst and Magnolia offices. She has been working in the hygiene field since 1980. She is a native of West Seattle, and a graduate of Shoreline Dental Hygiene program. Lisa enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients, and has a warm and cheerful personality. Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys snowskiing, gardening and travelling to Hawaii with her husband.

Trina – Hygienist

Trina is passionate about helping people make smart choices about their oral health. She has been a dental hygienist for 25 years, graduating from Shoreline Community College with her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene and completing her BS degree in Dental Hygiene through Eastern Washington University. Trina knows the importance of staying current with technologies and techniques. She has been educated in the Perioscope. Upon graduating, along with working in private practice, Trina taught Radiology at SCC for 4 years. In her off hours she gives back to her profession, in order to advance the profession and the next generation of dental hygienists. She is deeply committed to her local community and serves as President of her homeowner’s association. In 1993 she was the President of the Washington State Dental Hygienist’s Association and has served over 10 years representing Washington State on the national level.

Trina is a mother of two sons. She takes pride in leading an active life, whether it is skiing in the mountains or on the water or volunteering for her son’s lacrosse team.

In her own words, Trina is grateful for the opportunity to help people with a higher quality of life and for the continued trust in serving the community.

Nancy – Dental Assistant

Nancy has been a Dental Assistant for four years. She’s also in school part-time to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys working with the staff and treating the patients with exceptional respect and care. Her goal is for her patients to walk out having had a great experience and a bright smile!

Cecilia – Dental Assistant

Cecilia has been part of the team since 2015 and assists Dr. Kim as well as the office coordinator in the front. One of her favorite things about assisting is being able to meet new patients! She discovered her passion for dentistry in high school and she is currently an undergraduate studying at the University of Washington. She hopes to follow Dr. Kim’s footsteps and become a dentist herself!

John – Dental Assistant

John has been interested in the field of dentistry since high school after being inspired by his orthodontist. From there, he started volunteering at the Seattle Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic and just recently in 2016, has been assisting Dr. Kim. John is very passionate about dentistry because it not only challenges him to better his communication skills but also provide dental care to patients! He is currently an undergraduate studying Biology at the University of Washington and is working towards becoming a dentist himself!


Shannon is new to the dental field, but she studied Biology and Criminal Justice. She is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the care and treatment that they need. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and bodybuilding.
