As of May 1st, we will be offering a new teeth whitening choice for our patients.  You can have your teeth whitened in our office in just 20 minutes!  Sinsational Smile uses a fast and effective technology with their patented pre-filled silicone tray.  The procedure includes the in-office use of an LED accelerating light that helps to activate the gel's whitening ingredients at a faster rate, resulting in a brighter smile and white teeth in less time.  As part of your procedure, you'll also receive a take-home maintenance pen containing approximately 60 additional gel treatments.  When done the same day as your cleaning, the cost is $99.99.  If scheduled separately, the cost is $149.99.  Please ask us about Sinsational Smile at your next dental visit!

We are so happy to share the news that our lead dental assistant, Tara, is expecting and is due in July!  She definitely has that "glow". This will be her second child, and her son Logan is looking forward to having a baby brother or sister this summer.  Please join us in congratulating Tara and her family!

Do you find that it's hard to schedule dental appointments due to your busy weekday schedule?  For this very reason, we offer Saturday appointment times at our Magnolia office.  We are open every Saturday, and alternating Tuesdays and Fridays.  We've added additional days for November and December to help accommodate patients trying to utilize their dental benefits before the end of 2012.  Please call  (206)402-3904 or send an email to reception@linakimdental.com to schedule an appointment. 

We have flat screen TVs in our operatories!   Dr. Kim installed them to increase patient comfort during appointments with her.  You will be able to choose from several stations and from a variety of programs on Hulu.com.

Dr. Kim and her staff volunteer as the on-call dentist office for 4 local elementary schools; Coe, Lawton, Laurelhurst, and just this week, John Hay.   If a dental accident occurs at one of these schools and the school nurse is not able to treat the problem,  the nurse will call Dr. Kim's office for help.  This is part of a program called Adopt-a-School.  The Washington State Dental Association teams school nurses with local dentists to identify and to provide free emergency dental care for students who cannot function in the classroom due to unmet dental needs.  The program is designed to assist students who have no resources for treatment and serves all students regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, or country of origin.  To read more about this program, go to http://www.wohf.org/adopt-a-school/.
